Why Your Brand is More Than Just a Logo




Wondering what the difference is between a Logo, a Brand and Branding? If so you are probably wondering why you need complete branding when a logo is so easy. Let's start with the basics.


What is a Logo?


Your logo is simply the visual mark tide to your your business identity. Once considered to be the most important part of your business identity, your logo is in fact just a small piece of your complete Brand Identity. A well designed logo is a small but important part of a bigger more meaningful creation, your brand. You Logo should work in tandem with many other elements to help you attract dream customers, help set the tone for all the visuals created in your business. But a logo alone generally has little value or intention, especially when created with a focus on looking good, rather than performing well for your business and customers.

To build your client experience and learn how to work with your customers so they have an enjoyable and positive experience they will want to share. Possibly the most important is your brand + business strategy. Your strategy is everything your business is and will become, it is your 5 year goals, paired with intentional and actionable steps you take to grow your business, with a bit of day dreaming and big ideas sprinkled on top.


How do I know what I need?


You should have a pretty clear idea of what you need, but here are a few questions you can ask yourself to see if you need a Logo or a Brand!


  1. Do I know my five W's. Who, What, When, Where and Why. Who is my ideal client? What problem am I solving for them? When will they be in need of my product or service? Where can I reach and speak to them? Why I am creating a business?

  2. Do I have a clear Brand Message so I can effectively speak to and attract future customers?

  3. Do I have the knowledge, skills, and ability to consistently show up in my business with confidence?
